Introduction

Teaching children about money and finance is not easy. Considering how it will consume their lives, it is one of the most important lessons we can teach them.

Our children know we go to work, but they really don't see us earn money. They see us spend money, but they don't really see the bills come in.

We are all aware of the lack of financial education for our children within our school systems. Minden Money Camp for kids is an opportunity to introduce your children to the world of money and finance at a level they will understand and enjoy. A one day seminar designed to peak their interest and give them a stepping stone for them to better understand money and finances.

The one day your child spends at the camp may very well be the best and most important day of their summer. At the "Minden Money Camp ... for Kids(ages 8-12)...for Teens(ages 13-18)", young people have a chance to examine their thoughts and feelings about finance, uncovering the significance of savings, interest, inflation, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, mortgages and income taxes which will hopefully send them on their lifelong journey through financial literacy to money maturity.

Before, during and after the camp, your child will be involved in the following activities; go karting, mini-golf, baseball batthing cages, bumper boats, golf driving range ... making financial literacy a whole lot more fun!
